The NCASLA Professional and Special Awards Program:

The NCASLA Professional Awards Program:

The Professional Awards publicly recognize excellent examples of landscape architecture and environmental stewardship located within North Carolina through the exemplary efforts of professionals living and/or practicing in the state. Professional Awards are granted through a competitive, juried process. The program intends to encourage submissions that range from unique projects that stretch the abilities and strengths of the profession to typical landscape architecture projects that demonstrate high quality of work given the constraints of the project.

The awards and their presentation draw attention to the clients in appreciation for their foresight in protecting and enhancing the environment by seeking the professional assistance of landscape architects. Additionally, the program is a public relations tool that the Chapter uses to broaden understanding of the work of Landscape Architects within related professions, for clients, and the citizens of North Carolina.
