City of Winston-Salem Request Proposal

The City of Winston-Salem is issuing a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for design services to assist in the master plan preparation for Winston Lake Park, Salem Lake Park, Jamison Park, and Quarry Park.  Accordingly, the City of Winston-Salem is inviting consultants to respond to this RFQ.  Included in this RFQ is a draft scope of services and tasks and other information describing this potential opportunity.

City Seeks Sustainability Manager

The City of Wilmington has announced a new position, Sustainability Manager. This employee will be responsible for leading and advancing the city’s efforts to incorporate sustainability in all its operations. This goal will be accomplished by working with multidisciplinary city staff on the development and implementation of programs to advance the City of Wilmington to leadership in the areas of environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable programs. The Sustainability Manager will also be required to develop a local energy assurance plan.

This is a 2-year grant funded position. A minimum requirement is a BA or equivalent of education, training, and experience in Public Administration, Energy or Resource Management, or a related field. Experience with the legislative process and ARRA stimulus funds is preferred. The position will remain open until filled. Applications must be filed through the City of Wilmington at
