The North Carolina Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects sponsors an Annual Awards Program. NCASLA strengthens the profession in North Carolina while promoting stewardship of the environment by recognizing significant achievements of landscape architects, citizens, organizations and landscape architecture students. The Annual Awards Program is administered by the NCASLA Executive Committee Member-At-Large and additional assistance from the association management. The NCASLA Awards Program procedures closely follow the national ASLA Awards Program procedures.

The Special Awards Program recognizes those who have made significant contributions to the profession and to the enhancement of the physical environment. All Special Awards nominations are solicited and reviewed by the Past President’s Council, which votes on the final selection.
