Common Ground, a symposium exploring perspectives on health and environmental design, debuts at the Greg Poole Jr.

All Faiths Chapel at Dix Park on Friday, November 7 from 5 pm to 8:30 pm, and Saturday, November 8, from 9 am to 5 pm.

The event examines both historic and contemporary approaches to fostering wellness through outdoor environments, featuring discussions led by landscape architects, healthcare professionals, environmental artists, and conservation experts. Common Ground is generously supported by the Carlyle Adams Foundation as part of the Dix Park Conservancy’s Artist-in-Residence Program.

This year’s inaugural artist-in-residence, landscape architect and artist Preston Montague, will share his ongoing work in native grassland installations at Dix Park, developed throughout 2025.
