Hello NCASLA Charlotte Section: We are planning Park(ing) Day 2025! Here are the important dates: - July 25th: Notify Nick Musarra (nmusarra@landdesign.com) of your participation AND your top 3 space requests. - August 14th: Site plans for your design due to Nick by end of day - September 19th: Park(ing) Day! Spaces are located along Camden Road between West Blvd and W Kingston Ave (logistics TBD). Designs: Each firm/group will create a site plan of their space. The spaces measure roughly 8'x20'. Site plans will be submitted to CDOT to be assessed for ADA and safety - in the past they have wanted to see accessibility from the sidewalk, barriers between the space and travel lane, and any structural elements to ensure safe installation (plans do not need to be fully detailed, just identifying overall design intent). Spaces: There are 12 spaces reserved, please email Nick Musarra with your top 3 space preferences and spaces will be assigned as they are requested. Please use the attached PDF for space IDs. Remember multiple firms/groups can team up for a single space! Examples of past site plans and logistics will be sent out to participants once confirmed.
