Leading with Landscape IV: Transforming North Carolina's Research Triangle

In an effort to broaden awareness of the transformation taking place in the public realm across the Research Triangle, The Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF) will curate a conference and related events on April 12-15, 2018, that will draw an audience that is local, national, and international in scope. Speakers from firms throughout the U.S. and the Netherlands will present including: Civitas, Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Reed Hilderbrand, West 8, and others, along with NY Parks Commissioner Mitchell Silver and Curbed National design critic Alexandra Lange. Following the conference, TCLF will also host What’s Out There Weekend Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, two days of free, expert-led tours of the region’s important cultural landscapes. In developing these events, TCLF, in partnership with the City of Raleigh, North Carolina State University, North Carolina Museum of Art, Dix Park Conservatory, and Sasaki, is working to excite and inspire constituents, helping them to understand that the ambitions of their region are worthy of critical analysis, evaluation, and broadcasting. 6.5 LA CES™ professional development hours will be available to conference attendees, pending approval. Click here to register.
