2023 SERC Open Call For Presentations

The Southeast Regional Conference Planning Committee (GA, NC, SC) Chapters of the American Society of Landscape Architects is soliciting an Open Call for Presentations for their 2023 Southeast Regional Conference (SERC) on Landscape Architecture April 23-25, 2023, at the Loews Atlanta Hotel located in the Midtown neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia.

The 2023 Southeast Regional Conference theme is Crossroads: Paths to Resilience. Presenters with knowledge and experience related to the conference theme and found to be beneficial to peer professionals are highly desired.

Southeast Regional Conference 2017

Uptown Charlotte.

North Carolina, Georgia and South Carolina Chapters of the American Society of Landscape Architects for the ASLA Southeast Regional Conference.  The Conference was held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 thru Saturday, June 10, 2017.  Events were held at the Charlotte Convention Center and the Embassy Suites Uptown Charlotte, NC.
     
The ASLA Southeast Regional Conference engaged attendees to educate and ignite discussion within the Landscape Architecture Community!   A long list of sessions to choose from...

Call for proposals - 2018 Conference on the Value of Play: The Many Faces of Play

The US Play Coalition is now accepting proposals for Educational Sessions, Poster Presentations and the Play Research Symposium at the 2018 Conference on the Value of Play: The Many Faces of Play.  The conference will be held April 8-11, 2018 at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina.  “The Many Faces of Play” will explore play from across the globe and address universal issues of access, accessibility, inclusion and more.

At the Conference on the Value of Play, we have long relied on scholars, practitioners and industry leaders to share their expertise on various aspects of play. Submit your application to present in one of the following theme tracks(detailed on the call website):

  • International/Global Play
  • Multi/Intergenerational & Adults at Play
  • Accessible & Inclusive Play
  • Health, Recreation & Play
  • Nature Based & Outdoor Play
  • Education & Play
  • Designing for Play
  • Emerging Trends in Play
  • Nuts & Bolts

Those whose presentations are accepted to the 2018 Play Conference are eligible to apply for research and action grants (Additional application required).

All conference presentation proposal submissions are peer reviewed using a double blind process. Deadline for proposal submissions is 11:59pm EST on Sunday, October 15, 2017.
